Where we are now
A sealed loop road, a car park and an open outlook over the harbour and the town, at the head of the zigzag. It is also the design problem in one line: most visitors go no further than the lookout point.
What it becomes
The same view, with planting below it worth walking down into, and the second sculpture standing where the car park can see it.
Why this matters
People stop where the view is. That makes this both the cheapest interpretation site on the Cape and the reason the 2026 planting went in directly below it.
